Note that the wall thickness is affected by hotness or coldness of the fluid these devices carry as well as the pressure of the fluid. In the case of forging, it usually creates a single-piece and has no leak paths, which normally occurs with a two-piece brazed fitting. Normally, forged fittings are likely to last longer compared to cold drawn and they may come with a higher pressure rating as well.

You should as well consider fluid compatibility of the apparatus. For instance, the hose assembly should be compatible with the fluid it transports and its external medium. You need to ensure that the device assembly is compatible with the fluid by researching to get relevant information regarding such devices.

You should also consider the bending radius of your device as this affects the application of the device. It as well dictates the degree in which the hose can bend during operation at the maximum pressure allowed. This would aid you choose a more flexible device that would work effectively to yield better results.
